No. Signing up, receiving matches and leaving are all free, and Ventra never asks for card or insurance details.
No. Ventra does not run studies, see patients or employ researchers. We read the requirements that recruiting studies publish and let you know when one near you lines up with what you told us.
You get a short message naming the kind of study, roughly where it is and how to contact its team. Whether you get in touch is up to you, and the team then decides with you whether you can take part.
Only if you ask us to. Otherwise the match simply tells you how to reach the study team yourself.
No. We ask for your name, contact details, ZIP code and one research area. A study team that wants to know more about your health will ask you directly.
Only when there is something worth your time, and never more than four messages a month. Many months there will be none.
Yes. Reply to any email from us, or call, and we will update it. You can also sign up again with a different area.
That depends entirely on the study. Some cover travel or time, some do not. Ask the study team before you agree to anything; our guide to costs and travel lists the questions.
Reply STOP to any text, or email or call us, and we will stop. You will get one message confirming it and nothing after that.
